My love of hats began 10 years ago during my time as marketing manager at Burns Custom Hats. My collection began with a classic Low Gus and quickly grew from there.

 

But, my hat making journey truly began in 2023 when I serendipitously apprenticed with TROVADOR Customs in Austin, Texas. Learning to make hats felt like finding a piece of my soul I didn't know was missing. Like I had come back home to myself.

 

After my apprenticeship, I moved to Brenham, Texas, where I was the lead hatmaker at Ballad of the Bird Dog, building their Easy Drifter hat brand. Here I got to hone my craft and bring my own touch to classic western styles.​

 

Inspired by the ethereal cosmic magic of the West Texas deserts, Wander Wild is a dream I never dared to imagine. Hats have long been a form of self-expression for me, and I get a thrill each time I help create something that makes someone feel a little more "them".
